This beautiful pub called the Churchill Arms is situated in Londonβs Kensington and is always covered in gorgeous seasonal flowers (or Christmas trees in winter!) – We visited last year after a wander around Portabello Market and Notting Hill which are very close by, we had booked a table thinking it was just for drinks but Infact we had secured a spot at their Thai restaurant at the back of the pub! We had no idea it was there and it was a lovely unexpected surprise for lunch π½
Chefs in the Thai kitchen have been onsite at the pub for over 25 years, serving authentic regional Thai dishes which all come from family recipes πΉπ – The dining area is a beautiful butterfly and botanical themed conservatory at the rear of the pub – it feels like you are entering another world away from the business of London, especially when you arenβt expecting to go! π¦ π The food was delicious – We had Pad Thai, dumplings and chicken satay π₯ all some of my favourites – The front of the pub is a traditional bar and British boozer so you can order drinks from there π»
You can book a table for the restaurant or the front bar online, there was a big queue when we went so I would suggest booking! Portobello Market and Notting Hill are well worth a visit when you are in the area, such a gorgeous area of London and so many vintage treasures to be found at the Market! π
