Welcome to #TheBrightLife Blog – My name is Charli, a thirty something lover of travel, food and bright colours.
I think life is more fun in colour, hence the name #TheBrightLife.
I’m currently based just outside of London, UK with my husband Mark. We are obsessed with planning… Whenever we aren’t at work we are discussing our next adventure, whether that’s a visit to the local market at the weekend, our next big trip, or something on our bucket list that we won’t be doing for a zillion years (hey, it never hurts to plan it anyway!)
Between us we have already had some pretty amazing travel experiences and we are always thinking about the next one, so I figured why not share it all?
This blog is mainly focused on travel – where we’ve been, what we’re doing now and where we are planning to go. The destination index helps you filter by continent whilst reviews and travel planning tips will (hopefully!) help you discover some hidden gems and first hand opinions.
Since 2020 we’ve discovered a love for local travel in Kent where we live and within the UK – if you are Kent or London based this blog is a goldmine of things to do in the South East!
Aside from travel there are fashion, food and lifestyle sections of the blog so who knows what i’ll end up writing about. My Instagram account and #TheBrightLife has been my hobby for many years now and I hope this blog will be an extension of that. Thank you so much for visiting!
