We spent our Bank Holiday weekend in Norfolk and stayed at the wonderful Old Hall Coach House which has been awarded 5 stars and a Gold Award from Visit England – We booked on Air b n b but you can also book directly on Old Hallβs website – In addition to the Coach House you can also stay in the main building in the East Wing – Old Hall is situated just outside Kings Lynn in Norfolk, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, there are beautiful gardens, fields and even a woodland walk on site which is all dog proof πΆ In the on site barns you can find horses, donkeys and goats – there were even some baby goats there when we visited! I could have spent all day in the hammock in the garden area and Freddie loved it so much he didnβt want to get in the car to leave! π
The Coach House is completely private, on the ground floor you will find a kitchen-diner, living room and bathroom and upstairs is the bedroom complete with a free standing copper bath which was incredible π – The decor is gorgeous and there are so many little details from Old Hall exclusive toiletries which smelt amazing to home made Victoria sponges, port for a night cap and a full record collection and record player – The whole place is dog friendly and Freddie even got his own welcome back with treats and toys! The hosts Gil and Phillip couldnβt do enough for us, starting with a Prosecco on arrival and endless tips for things to do in the local area π
On our first night we got authentic Thai food delivered to our room as part of Old Hallβs room service offering, it was so lovely to not have to go out and make the most of our stay on site – There are a number of room service options including Italian, seafood and afternoon tea baskets!
If you are looking for a relaxing get away in the UK I couldnβt recommend Old Hall enough! Iβll be sharing more things to do in Norfolk this week if you are thinking about planning a trip βοΈ π¬π§
